Well this sucks...(jerb rant)

So I’m in an interesting pickle here.

I get paid on each car I purchase, it’s a tiered commission system etc etc which pays on the 15th of every month. Now when the 15th came and went, I contacted my office saying how I didn’t get paid on anything I had bought, I was told I was owed $200 though in the end. After doing the math, that’s a solid $1000 short of what my contract says so i contacted my boss, sent him the breakdown, and he told me he’d take care of it. As of this morning, still have gotten a big ol $0.00 for everything.

I’m four weeks into being here and I like my boss, like what I do, but not being properly paid is rather annoying and hurts the drive to do more on a Friday of all days. I’m sending an email to my boss as we speak, problem is he’s currently in Dubai.

how long ago did your boss tell you it will be taken care of? assuming it was 15th. It’s a week later now. I would also send him an email now. I’m sorry to bother you, your highness king of united arab emirates. Perhaps you remember me - the peasant who buys cars for you. Parks them in your dusty desert garage and they remain there for all of eternity. Yeah. I need to get paid.

It’s all weird. The person in charge of commission and payroll told me the $200 (which i know i made more than that) would be in my pay today, which is isnt. My boss said as of Tuesday he would take care of it all and it should be in my pay today, which it isnt.

Email your boss and the payroll person. Show the payroll person the breakdown you showed your boss and try and get the payroll person to fix it today.

yep. i would do that. email copy everyone.... AND yourself so you can show lawyers that you did show them breakdown and need to get paid... if it comes to that

Easy solution.  Either he starts to pay you what you are owed on time or you look for another job. 99% of the time continued payroll fuckery is covering for financial troubles.
